MISSOULA, Mont., Sept. 14 -- The University of Montana issued the following news release:

The University of Montana has been awarded a two-year $300,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to launch a pilot project to enhance American Indian participation in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields.
