SPRINGFIELD, Ill., Sept. 11 -- The Southern Illinois University School of Medicine issued the following news release:

The Regional Cancer Partnership of Illinois (RCPIL) has been awarded an $18,000 grant to fund free mammograms for uninsured and under-insured women ages 40 and older on Mondays in October at three locations.

The "Mammogram Mondays" grant, provided by the Memorial Affiliate of Susan G. Komen, has benefited 310 women over the last three years.
