ALBANY, N.Y. , Sept. 11 -- The New York State United Teachers issued the following news release:
New York State United Teachers, in concert with parents and other education organizations, will rally Tuesday against the SUNY Charter School Committee's attempt to cheapen the teaching profession by lowering certification standards in some charter school chains.
