WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- The U.S. Department of Education issued the following news release:
The U.S. Department of Education's Office of English Language Acquisition (OELA) (http://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/oela/index.html) announced today the awarding of $20 million in grants under the National Professional Development Program (NPD) (http://www2.ed.gov/programs/nfdp/index.html), to support educators of English learner students.
