PARAMUS, N.J., Aug. 25 -- Bergen Community College issued the following news release:
Bergen Community College class of 2016 graduate Peter Zalakostas began his one-year term on the institution's board of trustees July 11, taking the oath of office at the governing body's regular meeting. The position, elected by current students, carries full voting rights on the board.
Zalakostas, of Fair Lawn, first enrolled at Bergen in 2014 after serving nearly four years . . .
