AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 24 -- The University of Texas System issued the following news release:
The University of Texas System Board of Regents today unanimously approved an $18.3 billion operating budget for the 2018 fiscal year to fund operations at UT's 14 academic and health institutions around the state.
The new budget represents a slight increase--2.5 percent--over the previous fiscal year, including an additional $176 million for instruction and academic support . . .
