SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa., Aug. 23 -- Slippery Rock University issued the following news:
The Slippery Rock University Athletic Hall of Fame will welcome seven new members at the annual Hall of Fame induction banquet Sept. 9. The Class of 2017 was announced by Paul Lueken, SRU director of athletics and Hall of Fame committee chair.
The Class of 2017 includes:
* Jackie Altenweg, '02, women's basketball
* Gerald Hendershot, '81, men' . . .
