NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 23 -- The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development issued the following news:
The nonprofit Tennessee Performing Arts Center will present its highest honor, the Applause Award to legendary musician and producer Norbert Putnam and Dollar General Corporation at its annual fundraising event, TPAC Gala 6 p.m. Aug. 26 in the lobby of Andrew Jackson Hall.
