WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 -- Sens. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, and Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., issued the following statement calling on President Trump to withdraw his nomination of Sam Clovis to be USDA Undersecretary for Research, Education and Economics:
