OTTAWA, Canada, Aug. 23 - Governor General of Canada David Johnston issued the following news release:
His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will invest 1 Companion, 13 Officers and 30 Members into the Order of Canada during a ceremony at Rideau Hall, on Friday, August 25, 2017, at 10:30 a.m.
Throughout the year, we are celebrating the Order of Canada's 50th anniversary through a host of special initiatives and partnership . . .
