AIAA Foundation Announces Results of Its Graduate Team Aircraft Design Competition

RESTON, Va., Aug. 23 -- The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics issued the following news release:

The 2016-2017 Graduate Team Aircraft Design Competition challenge was to design a family of light business jets.

The winners are:

* First Place: RMIT University / The University of Kansas

* Team Name: Desprungdarcost Aerospace

* Student Team Members: Marwan Dessouki, Italo Costa, Drew Darrah, Martin Mendoza, Riley Sprun . . .
