SAN DIEGO, Jan. 20 -- The U.S. Navy issued the following news release:
First class petty officers (FCPOs) of Navy Region Southwest participated in the chief petty officer (CPO) advancement exam, Jan. 19, on Naval Air Station North Island.
The CPO advancement exam is held annually in mid-January. The exam tests FCPOs' familiarity on in-rate and professional military knowledge.
