LONGMONT, Colo., Jan. 20 -- The city of Longmont issued the following news release:
At the January 3, 2012 Council meeting, Mayor Dennis Coombs suggested, and members of the City Council approved a new program in Longmont to thank our returning veterans for their service. As a way to welcome home our local military veterans, the City of Longmont is offering free use of city recreation facilities for a 90 day period.
Any post 9/11 veteran who has been discharged from . . .
