ANNISTON ARMY DEPOT, Ala., Jan. 19 -- The U.S. Army issued the following news release:
Due to a decrease in workload, Anniston Army Depot is taking steps to reduce its employment numbers.
Over the next eight months, depot officials expect to release its temporary and term workforce, an estimated 580 employees. These employees will be released based on workload requirements. The earliest projected release date of personnel affected is March 30, 2012.
