WASHINGTON, Aug. 31 -- Rep. Mike Ross, D-Ark. (4th CD), issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor along with U.S. Representative Marion Berry (AR-01), Vic Snyder (AR-02) and Mike Ross (AR-04) today announced that Arkansas will receive $1,174,518 in Recovery Act funding to establish a designated Head Start Advisory Council for the state. The funds are allocated through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
