PETERSON AFB, Colo., Aug. 24 -- The North American Aerospace Defense Command issued the following news release:
The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) will conduct exercise flights today from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time as they practice intercept and identification procedures. The exercise flights will take place over Central California.
Those living in the vicinity of Fresno, Victorville and Palmdale may hear and/or see NORAD-controlled fi . . .
