NEW YORK, Aug. 24 -- New York University issued the following news release:

New York University Professor Kenneth Carr has received a $100,000 grant from NARSAD, a charity which supports mental health research, to conduct research on brain circuitry related to addiction.

Carr, an associate professor of psychiatry and pharmacology at NYU School of Medicine who also holds an appointment in NYU's Department of Psychology, is one of 42 innovative researchers awarde . . .
