LINCOLN, Neb., Aug. 18 -- The University of Nebraska issued the following news release:

The newly formed Friends of the International Quilt Study Center and Museum will host its first event at 6 p.m. Sept. 17 in conjunction with the exhibition "South Asian Seams: Quilts from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh."
