ST. PAUL, Minn., Aug. 16 -- The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:
Beginning Monday, Aug. 23, goose hunters can apply to reserve a date to hunt from a blind in the controlled zone at the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources' (DNR) Lac Qui Parle Wildlife Management Area.
Applications postmarked between Monday, Aug. 23, and Wednesday, Sept. 15, will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
