RIO GRANDE, Ohio, Aug. 16 -- University of Rio Grande issued the following news release:
AEP Ohio, a unit of American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP), has donated $225,000 in scholarship funds to qualifying applicants that plan to attend two-year Ohio community and technical colleges. The scholarships are part of a workforce development initiative designed to help low income Ohioans compete for jobs in an evolving economy.
