CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C., Aug. 13 -- The U.S. Marine Corps issued the following official news story:
Children played in the nearby grass as the sun beamed down on the crowd of family and friends waiting eagerly outside the French Creek Recreation Center aboard Camp Lejeune for their Marine or sailor to return.
