Fraser River Sockeye Salmon Fishery Opens for Treaty Tribes

OLYMPIA, Wash., Aug. 12 -- The Washington state Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission issued the following news release:

Treaty tribes in western Washington had a successful start to the Fraser River sockeye fishery this month after a few disappointing years.
