MINOT, N.D., Aug. 11 -- The office of Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., issued the following news release:
At an official Senate Appropriations field hearing he chaired here today, U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan (D-N.D.) heard testimony about the progress of the Northwest Area Water Supply (NAWS) project in North Dakota.
Dorgan has secured $25.8 million for the project since taking over as Chairman of an appropriations subcommittee in fiscal year 2008. The Senate's Energy . . .
