WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 -- Service Employees International Union issued the following news release:
Anna Burger, secretary-treasurer of the 2.2-million member Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and chair of the Change to Win labor federation, announced her retirement today. Burger is the highest-ranking woman in the American labor movement and was the first chair of Change to Win.
