LINCOLN, Neb., Aug. 9 -- The Nebraska Health and Human Services System issued the following news release:
By mid-October, everyone receiving economic assistance can go to the new ACCESSNebraska "Benefits Inquiry" option at http://accessnebraska.ne.gov/ to check the status of their case and the amount of benefits they are eligible to receive.
In July, all 70,000 SNAP (formerly food stamps) customers were mailed a PIN number and asked to pick their own user . . .
