SEATTLE, Aug. 9 -- The U.S. Navy issued the following news release:
Fleet Week came to a close at the 61st annual Seattle Seafair, Aug. 9 when U.S. Navy ships USS Port Royal (CG 73) and USS Kidd (DDG 100) departed from the Port of Seattle.
The Navy kicked off fleet week Aug. 4 with a parade of U.S. Navy, Coast Guard and Canadian ships circling around downtown Seattle's Elliott Bay.
