GRANITEVILLE, S.C., Aug. 9 -- Aiken Technical College issued the following news release:
Eighteen Aiken County youths got a taste of their careers this summer by spending eight weeks with an employer of their choice. They were recognized for their efforts at a ceremony in the ATC Amphitheater July 30.
ATC collaborated with Aiken Housing Authority and Second Baptist Church's Project Excel to provide area high school graduates a "workforce opportunity" . . .
