Yesterday, the United States Senate passed the Tribal Law and Order Act of 2010, a bill authored by U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan (D-ND), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs in response to what he describes as the "crisis" in law enforcement on many Indian reservations.
