LANSING, Mich., April 26 -- The Michigan Department of Corrections issued the following news release:

The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, to consider the possible commutation of sentence of Daryl McCurtis, #122003. It will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Handlon, Richard A. Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.

Daryl McCurtis is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Murder 2nd Degree. He was sentenced on January 22 . . .
