LAFAYETTE, La., April 26 -- The University of Louisiana issued the following news release:
A team of electrical and computer engineering students from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette took third place honors at the IEEE Region 5 Robotics competition held in Dallas on April 17.
A total of 27 schools participated in the competition. Teams had to construct a land-based robot, which could autonomously transport expended nuclear fuel rods from a central location . . .
