WASHINGTON, April 26 -- The office of Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., issued the following news release:
Today U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will commit to fully funding the relocation and rebuilding of the Tri-County Memorial Hospital in a secure location that will ensure local residents' access to the hospital. Initially, FEMA only offered to rebuild the hospital in the exact same location in which the flood occurr . . .
