Former Staunton Man Sentenced for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender

HARRISONBURG, Va., April 26 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Virginia issued the following news release:

A former Staunton, Virginia resident who was found guilty of failing to register or update registration as a sex offender as required by law, was sentenced today in the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia.

Today in District Court, James H. Patterson, 35, was sentenced to 41 months of federal incarceration to be follow . . .
