WASHINGTON, April 26 -- The American Legion issued the following news release:
Last week's 419-0 vote in the House was followed by a voice vote in the Senate that now sends S. 1963 - the Caregivers and Veterans Omnibus Health Services Act - to President Obama's desk. He is expected to sign it into law before Memorial Day.
Many of The American Legion's top legislative priorities are included in the measure, including improvements for women's services at VA health-car . . .
