Police Offering Free Gun Locks

LEXINGTON, Ky., April 26 -- The city of Lexington issued the following news release:

The Lexington Division of Police, in conjunction with Project ChildSafe*, is making free gun locks available to any firearm owner in an effort to promote gun safety awareness.

The gun lock giveaway began today. The free "cable style" locks can be picked up during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) at the Division of Police Headquarters, 150 E. Main S . . .
