WASHINGTON, Dec. 16 -- The office of Sen. Robert C. Byrd, D-W.Va., issued the following news release:
Senator Robert C. Byrd, D-W.Va., today announced that he has obtained $16.4 million in funding for key university and community-based projects throughout the State of West Virginia. The money was included in the Fiscal Year 2010 Commerce, Justice and Science Appropriations bill.
