WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 -- The office of Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., issued the following news release:

FY2010 Appropriations Bill Includes Nearly 20 Health and Education Projects Sen. Franken Requested

By a vote of 57 to 35, the Senate yesterday gave its final approval to the FY2010 Omnibus Appropriations Act, funding nearly 20 Minnesota health and education projects that U.S. Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) and his delegation colleagues requested.
