WASHINGTON, Dec. 16 -- Rep. Nick Joe Rahall, D-W.Va. (3rd CD), issued the following news release:
The U.S. House of Representatives, on a 395 to 34 vote, today passed the final fiscal 2010 Department of Defense Appropriations bill (H.R. 3326) containing $1,200,000 secured by U.S. Rep. Nick J. Rahall (W.Va.) to fund the development of flu research and vaccine and medicine development to combat viral pandemic diseases, such as the flu.
