LSU Professor Receives $5 Million Grant From NSF to Develop Composite Materials Center

BATON ROUGE, La., Dec. 15 -- Louisiana State University issued the following news release:
LSU Mechanical Engineering Professor Eyassu Woldesenbet has received a $5 million grant from the National Science Foundation, or NSF, to establish the Next Generation Composites Crest Center, or NextGenC3. Woldesenbet is the principal investigator of the project and is also a professor of mechanical engineering at Southern University, where the center will be housed.
