WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 -- The U.S. Navy issued the following news release:
Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii awarded an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funded $6.7 million task order Dec. 10 to install photovoltaic systems at Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF), Kauai.
The PV systems will be installed on 10 buildings and are expected to have a 20-year life cycle. The systems will be connected to the installation's power grid and . . .
