WASHINGTON, Dec. 11 -- The office of Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., issued the following news release:
Montana's senior U.S. Senator Max Baucus today is pushing United States Forest Service to address the pine beetle infestation in Montana. Montana faces devastating impacts from pine beetles, including increased risk of forest fires, erosion and loss of lands currently used for hunting and fishing.
