NEWARK, N.J., Dec. 8 -- New Jersey Institute of Technology issued the following news release:
The NJIT Campus Center Eco Giving Tree will help many homeless individuals to keep warm this winter. Members of the NJIT community are encouraged to donate hats, gloves and scarves that will be donated to homeless shelters in Newark. The tree died of natural causes and will be eventually composted.
