SANTA FE, N.M., Dec. 8 -- The city of Santa Fe issued the following news release:
The 2005 resolution mandated that "the proposed civic center be built and certified to the United States Green Building Council Leadership and Energy and Environmental Design Standard". The LEED Rating System is an internationally recognized green building certification system designed to encourage and facilitate the development of more sustainable buildings.
