SEOUL, South Korea, Sept. 2 -- The National Guard issued the following news release:
An elite Maryland Army National Guard unit recently took part in a major joint exercise here as part of their annual training.
The Special Operations Detachment-Joint Forces (SOD-JF), based in Laurel, Md., lent their expertise in planning and operations to Special Operations Command-Korea during the annual joint exercise, Ulchi Freedom Guardian, from Aug. 12-28.
