DES MOINES, Iowa, Sept. 2 -- Gov. Chet Culver, D-Iowa, has issued the following news release:
Governor Chet Culver travels to Guttenberg tomorrow to attend the dedication of the Stephen D. Shannon Athletic Complex. The new complex is named for a Guttenberg native, Corporal Stephen D. Shannon, who was killed in Iraq.
Shannon, who attended Clayton Ridge High School in Guttenberg, served in Iraq with the U.S. Army Reserve. He died in January 2007. The Clayton Ridge Sch . . .
