SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 2 -- Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, R-Calif., issued the text of the following speech:
GOVERNOR SCHWARZENEGGER: Thank you very much, all of you, for being here today. And I first want to say thank you for the briefing that I have just gotten from Chief Joseph, Chief Walters and Chief Bryant. It's always good to get an update and get the numbers on how we're doing with the fires and so on.
