TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Aug. 28 -- The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission issued the following news release:
The harvest of blue crabs from traps in closed waters from the Florida/Georgia border through Volusia County will reopen Aug. 30. The use of traps to capture blue crabs was prohibited for a 10-day period in this area so that lost and abandoned traps that remained in coastal and inland waters could be identified and removed.
