TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Aug. 28 -- The city of Tallahassee issued the following news release:
Commission to Discuss Filling Vacant Seat - The Tallahassee City Commission will hold a special meeting at noon on Monday, August 31. At the meeting the City Commission is expected to appoint an individual to serve the balance of the term held by former City Commissioner Allan Katz, following his resignation on August 14.
The Office of the City Treasurer-Clerk received 75 applic . . .
