WASHINGTON, July 21 -- Rep. John R. Carter, R-Texas (31st CD), issued the following news release:
$7.5 million in funding for national defense projects are headed to Bell County, after the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense approved requests by Congressman John R. Carter (TX-31).
$5 million was approved for the Army National Guard M939A2 Repower Program, which will help maintain 160 of the Army's current fleet of trucks, which are used extensively in . . .
