WASHINGTON, July 20 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency issued the following news release:
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has awarded a second contract under the Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) program. Lockheed Martin Corp., Missiles and Fire Control, Grand Prairie, Texas, will receive $10 million for the initial nine-month phase of the missile demonstration effort. The first award was announced June 30.
