WASHINGTON, July 21 -- Rep. Robert Wittman, R-Va., (1st CD), issued the following news release:
Rob Wittman issued the following statement on the Senate Vote to strip $1.75 billion for F-22s from the National Defense Authorization Act:
"Today's vote by the Senate to strike funding for completion of the F-22 fleet is a step in the wrong direction. I remain very concerned about the efforts of the Administration and some in Congress to terminate F-22 fighter . . .
